Universal support for Audio Recordings with precise time marking using our heralded Flags system, and you are now able to enter typed text notes independent of audio recording. While recording, a simple tap allows you to quickly and easily mark significant points with audio markers called "Flags". There are two standard flag sets for business and education users, with Flags such as "Urgent", “Listen”, “Research”, and "Test Item". If the standard Flags don’t suit your needs, you can create your own custom flag sets with names and icons that make sense to you. During playback, you’ll see the Flag markers and can immediately start playing from those moments of the recording. Jump to the most important information quickly and easily!

CaptureAudio users can now sync across multiple devices using Dropbox Sync. Once the Dropbox Sync has been established, CaptureAudio keeps track of the changes, and updates the devices both ways to keep everything up to date; Audio Recordings, Text Notes, Recording Tags, Custom Flags Sets... all aspects of the sessions are synced between devices.

how can i assign the name for my recording before start recording , not after i finished recording?

[Update] It seems that the developer has actively been updating this app and its much more stable now. Just donwloaded the app, and here are my first impressions after using it for a few minutes. Pros - Visual bookmarks/flags - Clean interface - Binders/Notebooks for organizing audio recordings Cons - No clound sync (e.g. Dropbox) - Some controls can be more intuitive Notes - Crashed when trying to create a backup audio file (looking forward to better stability in future releases) - I will be updating my review as update releases become available

Some bad moments

Needs an update , cuz it crashes when attempting to start up.

This is a pretty cool app. In my profession I listen to a lot of people talk. Many times it is necassary to record our sessions so I can go back an pick up on something that Ive missed. There are also times when taking notes with a pen and paper during a meeting is just not possible (for example: when Im meeting with a family whose loved one just died and they are sharing stories as we prepare for the funeral). Thats when this little app shines. Im able to record our time together and very unobtrusively hit one of the marker buttons when something is shared that I need to refer back to later. For those of you who need to record your meetings and would like to refer back to the highpoints quickly, this is a must!

This may be the first time Ive bought an app with very few reviews but Im glad I did. Have tried several good recording apps but this is the first one I can use to reference information from a three hour meeting right on the phone instead of transferring to the computer first. A few of my favorite features are ability to speed up the play back by 1.5x and 2x speeds, pause (on record and playback which not all have), ten second jump forward or backward, and of course the flag markers. Its great that when you go back to where a flag is that you are taken several seconds prior to the marked point.

Ive only had this app for a few days, but so far its really useful. I love being able to tap a button to mark a point in the conversation that I want to review or remember later. Thats the feature that really makes this app shine. No more searching for that one critical point in a ten minute conversation - just flag it!!

It will take care of all my needs when the sharing and Dropbox support is added. Developers quickly got back with me on my questions and glad they are working on my wants.

It really is a fantastic app, especially for 99 cents. Im using it for podcast recording on the go with a tiny external clip microphone. It works fantastic!
