Needs an update , cuz it crashes when attempting to start up.

Im having the same issue as a previous reviewer of not being able to export the videos from my device to drop box (as it supposed to be). Basically I cant progress past the stage where I press the create audio files button… Then when it goes to the screen with the drop box link button pressing that leads me to a dead-end. Please fix this because as of right now having the files on my device is of no use to me… I really need to be able to send them to people.

You have to export (backup or sync) all your audio files.

When trying to share (save) a file to dropbox app crashes.

how can i assign the name for my recording before start recording , not after i finished recording?

[Update] It seems that the developer has actively been updating this app and its much more stable now. Just donwloaded the app, and here are my first impressions after using it for a few minutes. Pros - Visual bookmarks/flags - Clean interface - Binders/Notebooks for organizing audio recordings Cons - No clound sync (e.g. Dropbox) - Some controls can be more intuitive Notes - Crashed when trying to create a backup audio file (looking forward to better stability in future releases) - I will be updating my review as update releases become available

This is a pretty cool app. In my profession I listen to a lot of people talk. Many times it is necassary to record our sessions so I can go back an pick up on something that Ive missed. There are also times when taking notes with a pen and paper during a meeting is just not possible (for example: when Im meeting with a family whose loved one just died and they are sharing stories as we prepare for the funeral). Thats when this little app shines. Im able to record our time together and very unobtrusively hit one of the marker buttons when something is shared that I need to refer back to later. For those of you who need to record your meetings and would like to refer back to the highpoints quickly, this is a must!

This may be the first time Ive bought an app with very few reviews but Im glad I did. Have tried several good recording apps but this is the first one I can use to reference information from a three hour meeting right on the phone instead of transferring to the computer first. A few of my favorite features are ability to speed up the play back by 1.5x and 2x speeds, pause (on record and playback which not all have), ten second jump forward or backward, and of course the flag markers. Its great that when you go back to where a flag is that you are taken several seconds prior to the marked point.

Ive only had this app for a few days, but so far its really useful. I love being able to tap a button to mark a point in the conversation that I want to review or remember later. Thats the feature that really makes this app shine. No more searching for that one critical point in a ten minute conversation - just flag it!!

It will take care of all my needs when the sharing and Dropbox support is added. Developers quickly got back with me on my questions and glad they are working on my wants.

It really is a fantastic app, especially for 99 cents. Im using it for podcast recording on the go with a tiny external clip microphone. It works fantastic!

I record my digressive ADHD anthro class. I can mark when she digresses & when I need to review. This is awesome. One thing Id like to add is the icon. Its a bit not right around the corners.

This is a really well-made app. The controls are easy to use and it looks very polished. A lot of thought went into this app. What would make it a killer voice app is if it had voice activation available. It would record when sound hit a certain threshold and it would pause when there was no sound available. An app that does this wonderfully is called YaRec which I have used for the past couple years. I hope the voice activated feature would be added to this app in the near future. It really would make this app the standard above all others.

Really like the app. Ability to put up flags is great. Excellent voice quality. However, a big negative for me is that it doesnt allow trimming the recordings in instances where youd want to trim the beginning and the end of the recordings. Another negative is the binder/notebook and renaming system is kinda confusing and not as intuitive. I would also like to request save as mp3 feature.

I like the concept of this app but I have lost a few lectures due to the wacky saving function and that really doesnt fly.

I have two lectures that were successfully recorded and play fine. Another recorded and wont play back. A fourth never recorded despite the fact I hit the record button. Good thing I tried this out and discovered it is not reliable. I start nursing school next month and I need reliability! This just isnt it.

Great idea, but simple functions like saving and retrieving audio files are unintuitive, and even frustrating at times. Need to add the ability to add new flags to old recordings; this is actually what killed the app for me.
